Welcome to St. Stephen's Church!
At
St. Stephen's, ours is a family congregation with about sixty-five people attending each Sunday. We are made up of a variety
of ages from infants to seniors. We care for and help one another as well as others as we follow our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
We are a friendly as well as a helpful family of
Christians. We believe that the Bible cultivates us, much like our native soil produces well for our farmers.
We follow a long tradition of the Episcopal Church which is an outgrowth of the Church of England on American soil.
In recent years, the Holy Spirit has moved our members to construct a parish hall and chapel to further our ministry
into the twenty-first century. Our facilities are located in the midst of our three hundred acre farm
on Glebe Road.
At St. Stephen's, we blend historical and longtime commitment
with our facilities in a quiet and reverent setting near the village of Earleville, in rural northeastern
Maryland.
